In the next two days, Mohammad Akbar's parents and younger brother will be travelling to Chicago.

The family thanked the Centre, the state government and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj for their timely co-operation. They even met Telangana Home Minister Naini Narshimha Reddy on Wednesday to express their gratitude

Akbar, who had gone to the US for higher studies was shot on December 6 while he was walking towards his car in the parking lot.
