The puppy was found wandering on the streets which was taken to the police station in Karkhana by an auto-rickshaw driver. Policemen took good care of it by bathing and feeding it. They posted its picture through their official Twitter handle @shokarkhana. B. Janiah, a Station House Officer said that though the puppy was in panic initially, it got used to the people around in the police station and started accepting biscuits and other eatables.

Srinivas told that, ‘Owner Jayachandran came to the police station with some photographs with the puppy to prove his identity. As the puppy recognised its owner at the first sight, it was easy for us to make things sure and return the puppy to its owner’.
