Man poisons family; hangs himself to death

A man poisoned his family before committing suicide on Tuesday in Siddipet district.

The incident took place at Turkavanikunta village where the deceased identified as Bhagavan Reddy, poisoned his wife, son and daughter before hanging himself.

While his daughter, Roja and son, Premchand died on the spot, his wife, Rajavva is battling for life in hospital.

The reason behind this extreme step is yet to be known. Police have registered a case and are investigating.
