President Ram Nath Kovind visits Gautama Buddha Statue in Hussain Sagar

President Ram Nath Kovind arrived at Hussain Sagar to visit Gautama Buddha's statue on Rock of Gibraltar and paid tributes to Lord Buddha in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning.

He was accompanied by Governor ESL Narasimhan, Maharashtra governor Vidya Sagar Rao and other dignitaries.

Police have made high-security arrangements near Tank Bund area with regard to President's visit. After this, the President will return to New Delhi. President Kovind who made his first visit to Hyderabad after assuming office was the chief guest at the closing ceremony of World Telugu conference held at the Lal Bahadur Stadium on Tuesday.
