KCR congratulates TRANSCO chief for CBIP award

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday congratulated Chairman and Managing Director, Telangana Power Generation and Transmission Corporation (TRANSCO), D Prabhakar Rao for the Central Board of Irrigation and Power (CBIP) award.

The award was conferred to Mr Prabhakar Rao for his outstanding contribution in the power transmission sector.

CBIP member secretary BK Batra in a letter to Prabhakar Rao informed that the jury had decided to confer him with the award this year as a part of recognising the contributions of several organisations, professionals and stakeholders to promote excellence in water, power and renewable energy sectors.
