KTR wins Urban Leader award

New Delhi: IT and Municipal Administration Minister K T Rama Rao on Wednesday bagged the Urban Leader of the Year Award. At the Business World’s 5th Smart City Seminar and Awards programme here on Wednesday, KTR's contribution for the growth of smart cities was hailed.
Union Minister for Urban Development Hardip Singh Puri gave away the award to KTR. Telangana bagged two Business World Awards for Urban Development programmes -- Swachh Bharat programmes and for creation of infrastructure. Telangana also bagged an award in the area of basic infrastructure which was received by Municipal Secretary Navin Mittal and Special Resident Commissioner Aravind Kumar. TRS MPs, K Kavita and Vishweshwar Reddy, congratulated KTR on his achievements.
