Two nominations of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation for SKOCH Awards have been adjudged amongst the top  projects at National level for the year 2017.

Hyderabad : Two nominations of Telangana State Road Transport Corporation for SKOCH Awards have been adjudged amongst the top projects at National level for the year 2017.

The TSRTC got the award for Vajra Services, an intercity travel facility between Hyderabad and four cities of Warangal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar and Godhavari Khani. These services are more convenient to the intercity passengers picking them very near to their residences and dropping to their destination.

The corporation also got award for providing employment to the children of medically unfit employees. Eligible children of medically unfit employees are given jobs in the corporation edition to the regular retirement benefits. So far, 50 children’s of medically unfit employees have been given jobs in the corporation.

The Skoch Mobility Award-2017 – India’s Highest Independent Civilian Honour since 2003, was presented by Pawan Kuamr Agarwal, Food safety & Standard Authority of India and Sameer Kochhar, Skoch Group Chairman to TSRTC Managing Director G.V. Ramana Rao at a special function at Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.

The Managing Director thanked all the officers and staff for their dedicated and determine efforts in bagging the Skoch Mobility Award and two Order-of-Merit Awards for the year 2017.
