ABVP condemned the decision of abolition of conducting 105th Science Congress in Osmania University premises and demanded to conduct Science Congress in the campus as per the schedule January 3-7th, 2018.

Central working committee member Matta Raghavender alleged shifting the venue to other university was an insult to 100 years old Osmania University and demanded the vice-chancellor Prof Ramachandram to tender resignation taking responsibility for being unable to conduct the Science Congress.

He further alleged that only due to state government’s pressure, the Science Congress Committee cancelled conducting Science Congress in OU.

Pointing out the successful 104th Science Congress conducted in Andhra Pradesh, by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, Raghavender questioned Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as to why there was no enthusiasm in conducting Science Congress instead hundreds of crores are being spent on Telugu World Conference and GES.

Demanding KCR to initiate steps to conduct 105th Science Congress in the University, he asked KCR to strive for the development of the University and also called upon the students to extend their cooperation in this regard.
