Four arrested for duping people in the name of rice pulling business
Four persons were arrested by the Hyderabad police for duping people into purchasing objects such as bowls, pots, and coins, claiming they would attract rice by virtue of having supernatural powers.

An amount of Rs 34,19,000 along with an Innova car, eight cell phones and three rice pulling bowls were also seized from the possession of those arrested.
According to the police, a victim, a car driver, G Vishnumurthy lodged a complaint earlier this month in Bowenpally under section 420 and 406 of IPC.
The accused - Vema Anjaneyulu, Md Fazaluddin, T Bablu and S Babu Rao maintained an office on the fourth floor of Surya Towers in Secunderabad and lured innocent people manipulating them to purchase the rice pulling bowl.
The accused lured the victim and his friends asking them to invest Rs 20 lakh and promising that they would get Rs 2-3 crore.
Another victim, Thammishetty Ramesh also lodged a complaint on December 16 at the Police Station.
