Hyderabad woman dies after spurned lover sets her on fire

In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly attacked by a spurned lover at Lalaguda in Hyderabad.

The woman, Sandhya Rani was attacked by Karthik who allegedly poured kerosene on Sandhya Rani and set her ablaze.

Locals rushed the victim to Gandhi Hospital but she succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment.

The accused Karthik has been harassing Sandhya Rani in the name of love for the past one year. Both Karthik and Sandhya worked for an Aluminium company.

The officials recorded her statement regarding the harassment. Police registered a case and took up the investigation. Karthik has also been taken into custody.
