Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) Chairman Professor M Kodandaram criticised the way the Telugu World Conference was organised.

Speaking to the reporters on Thursday, he said that the state government ignored great poets and folk singers like Gaddar, Vimalakka, Mitra and Ande Sri who fought for separate Telangana.

Stating that the conference was conducted in an undemocratic manner, Kodandaram said that there were no directions given to developing Telangana slang.

Responding to the TJAC Chairman’s remarks, Chairman Telangana Sahitya Academy Nandini Sidda Reddy urged Kodandaram to get his facts right.
