DGP orders inquiry
Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy on Saturday ordered an inquiry into two incidents into the alleged unethical practices adopted by two police officers in two incidents. The incidents happened under the limits of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate and Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.

The incidents happened under the limits of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate and Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
Video footage of alleged inappropriate behaviour of the two police officers went viral. The police officers are Madhapur Additional Deputy Commisisoner of Police Gangi Reddy in Cyberabad Police Commisisonerate limits and T S Uma Maheswara Rao, Inspector of Police of Jawaharnagar under Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
As far as Gangi Reddy is concerned, the video footage showed him hitting a short film director Yogi after being detained on a charge of sexual harassment.
The video footage showed the police officers kicking Yogi around. In the second incident, Uma Maheshwara Rao was seen resting his foot on the bed during investigation of a murder case.
In the picture which went viral on Saturday, the Jawaharnagar Inspector was shown resting his foot on the cot even as the widow of the victim was jotting down the statement.
The police were pilloried on the social media as the video footage of two incident went viral.
