Hyderabad: A case has been registered against Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh over his alleged hate speech against a community and for spreading enmity between two religious groups under the Sections 153A and 295-A of IPC by Golconda police.

Acting upon a complaint from Mohammad Irfan, a city based AAP leader, the Golconda police registered a complaint against the MLA for his frequent and continuous hate speeches. The complainant in his complaint referred to Raja Singh’s hate speeches which were uploaded on Youtube and regularly shared in different social media platforms.

Earlier, a case was also registered following his speech on December 12 at Yadgir in Karnataka. He allegedly made provocative speech at the Virat Hindu Samavesh meeting where Sri Ram Sene founder Pramod Muthalik was also present. The Yadgir police also conducted a probe after the video of his provocative speech went viral and registered a case against Raja Singh under relevant sections of IPC and Arms Act for brandishing a sword during his address.
