Demand for Metro Rail in Old City intensifies

Many were left disappointed when news surfaced that the Metro Rail project in the Old City has been shelved.

While leaders of all the political parties are demanding to start the Metro Rail in Old City, the officials clearly stated that the project has been abandoned.

A large number of youths belonging to middle-class families travel to Madhapur and other areas to work particularly with girls having to travel in the bus for the long distances.

The citizens of Old City are disappointed with the cancellation of the project and are alleging that the situation arose only due to the lack of interest from the local leadership.
