Kaleshwaram project will be ready by June 2018: Harish Rao

Hyderabad : Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao has directed the officials to ensure completion of Kaleshwaram Project by June 2018.
The minister inspected various works at Kamalapuram and Nandimedaram on Monday night. He also reviewed the details of works pertaining to 6th package in Medaram and 7th package in Mallapur of Dharmaram mandal. He also visited the barrages and pump houses in Sandela, Annaram and Medigadda.
Speaking to officials, Harish Rao directed them to execute the works as per the approved road map. He had set a deadline of May 31, 2018 for officials and contractors for completion of Kaleshwaram project. He said the progress of construction should be reviewed on daily basis and the same should be shared with him on WhatsApp by 9 am daily. He said any kind of negligence or delays would not be tolerated.
The minister said he would conduct a three-day visit to review the works after 17 days.
