KCR terms uninterrupted power supply to farmers as a wonderful victory
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Monday held a meeting with the TS Genco, Transco CMD D Prabhakar Rao, and other electricity officials following the launch of 24-hour power supply to the farm sector.

Terming it a wonderful victory, KCR hailed the achievement and said that it was possible only to the employees of the electricity organizations in the state who took Telangana from power deficit to power sufficient.
Congratulating all the concerned officials, he said that Telangana is the youngest state and is already being acclaimed in the country for its revolutionary changes in the power sector.
Also, the Chief Minister announced that a special increment would be given from January 1, 2018, as a recognition of the great services rendered by the electricity employees.
