Elderly couple brutally murdered in Warangal

An elderly couple found brutally murdered in their house in Warangal district on Tuesday.

The deceased, identified as Kanchu Yellaiah and Pullamma are residents of Somidi village who lived alone by taking care of their agriculture fields.

According to the police, unknown persons slit the throat of the couple and then smashed their head with bricks.

Police suspect family disputes behind their deaths. A case of murder has been registered by the police and an investigation is on.
