Asserting that he would begin the fast irrespective of whether the police grant permission, he demanded political parties including the Congress, which supported the SC categorization issue, to come forward introduce a Private Member Bill in the Parliament seeking categorization of Dalits.
Manda Krishna Madiga criticised the way law functions in the state.
Claiming that attempt to murder cases were registered against TRS leaders including Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao during Million March protest organized during Telangana movement, the MRPS founder said that yet he was kept in jail for organizing a rally which indicates the law in the state is selectively applied.
