Hyderabad: Popular Telugu TV anchor Machiraju Pradeep, who was booked for drunk driving in early hours of Monday, did not appear for the counselling session at Begumpet Traffic Police Station on Tuesday.
North Zone Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) T Amarkanth Reddy told The Hans India, “Pradeep has time to appear for the counselling till Friday this week. If he fails to attend the counselling session, we will file a charge sheet against him in the court.”
The blood alcohol content (BAC) of Pradeep when he was tested with breathalyser was 178 mg/100 ml of blood. Anything more than 35 mg/100 ml is punishable.
