The cultural events begin with Bharatanatyam recital for ‘Ganesha Pancharatna Verse’ by dancer Radharani along with her group that includes Akhila, Vaishnavi, Anil, Vibhuti, Ritika, Jaya, Tanmayi, and Prabalya. The group mesmerised the audience with their scintillating performance.

They preformed items like ‘Dakshinamurthy Stotram’, ‘Ayyappa Varnam’, ‘Jaya Janardhana’, ‘Janula Madhya Tirugade Jagapati’, ‘Raghukula’ and ‘Nagumomu’. Their flawless show was appreciated by the large audience.

Later, Akanksha Girish, a Bharatanatyam dancer, disciple of Dr. Janaki Rangarajan spellbound the audience with her great dancing skills.

Akanksha performed on Ranganjali; In praise of Lord Shiva, the divine God who resides on Mount Kailash. Enna Thavam; A beautiful composition in praise of Lord Krishna. Here the poet says, ‘Oh mother Yashoda, what penance did you do for the all-pervading supreme Lord to endearingly call you "Amma"? You held him, the one who created all 14 worlds, in your arms, fed him and put him to sleep.

She also performed on Thillana; The concluding item in a Bharatanatyam program. With sparkling dance movements to intricate rhythmic patterns, this item provides a fitting finale to the program.
