The first batch of 53 section officers, including six women, of the Forest department completed their three-month training course in the Forest Academy at Dulapalli recently. 

Jeedimetla: The first batch of 53 section officers, including six women, of the Forest department completed their three-month training course in the Forest Academy at Dulapalli recently.

The officers attended a parade and received medals and certificates from Chief Guest Dr Manohar Banja, IFS. Addressing the officers, Manohar advised them to work efficiently in their allotted districts and earn a good name. He suggested them stress on the protection of wild life and eco-tourism and to avert fire accidents in forests.

‘Your conduct as officers must be educative regarding wildlife for the future generations’, he said. He also stressed that each officer should devote special attention to ‘Haritha Haram’. IFS Officer Raghuveer and Academy Director Tirupataiah were also present at the event.
