Revanth Reddy writes open letter to KCR to release life convicts who served 5 yrs

Congress party leader and Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy in an open letter to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao urged for the release of life convicts who have completed five years of sentence in prison.

In the letter, Revanth Reddy recalled KCR’s promise made during the separate Telangana movement to release prisoners serving life sentences who have completed five-year jail term.

With the TRS government releasing only those prisoners who completed the jail term of 12 to 14 years, the Congress leader wanted the government to take steps in this direction release prisoners who completed five-year jail term.
