Iron rod from Hyderabad Metro construction site falls on moving car

According to the police, the iron rod fell from the Hyderabad Metro Rail construction site damaging the car slightly but no one was hurt in the incident.
The car owner Abdul Aijaz, a businessman from Yakutpura was travelling in his new Tata Bolt car along with his friend from Malakpet to their workplace when the mishap occurred while they were passing under the Metro Rail construction site at Chaderghat.
The iron rod pierced through the bonnet and got stuck in the engine.
A case has been registered under section 336 (Act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Indian Penal Code and the police have taken up the investigation.
The L&T Hyderabad Metro management or the concerned department would be booked for negligence based on further investigation.
