Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has warned all the managements of private junior colleges in the State that no college should make admissions for the academic year 2018-19, before beginning of the academic year 2018-19 and announcement of the admission schedule for the same.

"Admissions made well in advance before announcement of the admission schedule will not be valid and stringent action will be initiated against the erring managements," Board Secretary Dr. A. Ashok said on Saturday.

Further, the parent community has been urged not to admit their ward (s) in any junior college before announcement of the admission schedule for the academic year 2018-19 by the Board. Prior to the beginning of the academic year 2018-19, the list of affiliated junior colleges for the academic year 2018-19 will be placed in the official website of TSBIE, and after issuance of the admission schedule, before making the admissions, the parents/students have been asked to enquire and confirm whether the college in which they wish to take admission has affiliation for the academic year 2018-19 or not and which courses were sanctioned for the college, the Board Secretary said.
