Brahmakumaris organise a seminar on ‘Balancing Law and Love’; delve deep into the power of unconditional love

Hyderabad: Stating that there was a need to keep a balance between love and law for personal and professional excellence, various speakers from judicial fraternity said that this could be achieved through Rajayoga.

A seminar on ‘Balancing Law and Love’ was organised by the jurists’ wing of Brahmakumaris here at its office at Krishnanagar on Sunday. Speaking as the chief guest, High Court Judge Justice M Ganga Rao said the Rajayogam would bring out the inner happiness of human beings. He said one could get spirituality through Rajayogam, which would help control the mind.

Justice Ganga Rao stressed the need to bring out the inner happiness and not to go for the materialistic happiness. He shared his experience while in court stating that one couple had come to him for divorce and the issues between them were very small and egoistic. There was a need to think in a bighearted manner and spirituality would help regaining the inner strength, he said.

Justice V Eshwaraiah said there was no need for any law when there was unconditional love. “There is no true love because there is no true understanding between people,” he said, adding that there were no laws before 200 to 300 years ago. “When values began decreasing in human beings and selfishness plunged into love, then laws had to be made,” said Eshwaraiah. He said that there was a need for removing evil qualities and adopting good qualities within self. “There should have been ‘Satya Yug’ after Mahabharata was written in ‘Dwapar Yug’ but there is Kalyug now and there is ‘Mahabharat’ in every house. People go for Namaz five times but indulge in violence after coming out. I have said this even in Pakistan, Bangladesh and other countries,” said Eshwaraiah.

Small Causes Court Chief Judge Justice M V Ramesh said that life would be success when love and law were balanced. He said that these days, some advocates were money oriented, some were result oriented but very less were in numbers who were work oriented. If the advocates were work oriented, they could get both money and result, he added. “When divinity becomes part of life we will become deity,” he said.

Brahmakumaris, Chelapur branch head Sister Rajani said when laws were enforced without love it would not get positive result. “We are forcibly trying to impose values. When there is love, there will be successful implementation of laws. Too much love and lawfulness are also not good,” said Rajani. PRR Education Society secretary P Srinivas Reddy and Ahmadiya Muslim Community secretary Md Kaleem Khan also addressed the gathering.
