Youngster’s selfie video at railway tracks leaves him injured

A youngster was severely injured after having an accidental fall while taking a selfie video alongside the railway tracks while an MMTS train was passing by the Bharatnagar railway station in Hyderabad this week.

The incident came to light today when the selfie video went viral on social media.

The youngster, Shiva sustained serious head injuries and was shifted to a private hospital where his condition is said to be stable.

The video showed Shiva taking the selfie with his smartphone as the MMTS train approaches from behind him. However, he appears to have been caught in the impact of the wind induced by the speed of a train that crossed him and fell alongside the tracks.
