Emphasis on quality research to improve teaching standards
GITAM Hyderabad Business School Dean and Director Prof Y Lakshman Kumar on Wednesday said that getting up-to-date in research methodology would lend credibility to research. Lakshman Kumar was addressing the participants of a two-day Faculty Development Programme organised by GITAM HBS.
Hyderabad: GITAM Hyderabad Business School Dean and Director Prof Y Lakshman Kumar on Wednesday said that getting up-to-date in research methodology would lend credibility to research. Lakshman Kumar was addressing the participants of a two-day Faculty Development Programme organised by GITAM HBS.
Lakshman Kumar said GITAM HBS believes in promoting quality research for enhancing standards of teaching in an educational institution. He said the FDP aspired to train the participants in both introducing research methods and interpreting the results. He gave away certificates to the participants in the valedictory.
GITAM HBS conducted the programme on January 18 and 19 to equip the researchers with basic and advanced data science skills using SPSS to understand the data analytics approaches and to produce quality research. GITAM HBS Professor V V Haragopal, SPSS Inc. Research scholars from SPJIMR, Mumbai, JNTUK, Kakinada, JNTUH, Hyderabad, Osmania University, Hyderabad, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur, Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, participated in the workshop.
