The TS-iPASS policy introduced by Telangana State Government three years ago has brought many laurels to the newly created state in the country. Telangana was attracting huge investments from industry and is becoming a destination for investments.

Official figures says Telangana under the new industrial policy attracted Rs 1,17,893.83 crore investments from 6,039 industries projecting the creation of 4,40,863 jobs.

3,537 companies that commenced operations during the period have invested Rs 32,220.87 crore generating 1,57,816 jobs. 481 companies that are in advanced stage with Rs 12,493.17 crore investments will create employment for 79,457 people.

Rs 29,329.78 crore are coming up from 517 companies that are in initial stage of implementing their projects which will create 83,992 jobs. Around 1,504 companies have come forward with an investment of Rs 43,850.01 crore which are going to generate 1,19,598 jobs.

The new industrial policy paved way the State to be the best destination to invest not only for big companies but also for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Telangana attracted 1,800 companies that have invested in the range of Rs 1-10 crore amounting to Rs 5,749.66 crore and employed 64,799 people. A huge number of micro enterprises (3,663) have invested upto Rs 1 crore and below, amounting to a cumulative investment of Rs 1,055.71 crore creating 53,508 jobs.
