On the eve of India’s 69th Republic Day, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor ESL Narasimhan hoisted the tricolour flag in parade ground today and recalled the great leaders who made the constitution and brought republic for the Indians.

Recounting the work of the state governments, he said that a record of programs and schemes are being implemented for the welfare of the poor, for industrial growth, for the development of rural economy, for the development of agriculture, for infrastructure development and many more.

The Governor shared that the state government is spending an estimation of 40,000 crores annually to help the poor.

Expressing happiness on Telangana becoming a role model for other states in the country, he said the state has garnered 14,844 megawatts capital power generation when compared to 6574 megawatts at the time of the formation and power plants are being constructed to achieve the 28000 megawatts of power generation.
