Man attacks 14-year-old son mistaking him for wife’s lover
A man attacked his 14-year-old son with an axe in Kurnool district on Friday. The victim has been identified as Parusuram who was mistaken by his father.
A man attacked his 14-year-old son with an axe in Kurnool district on Friday. The victim has been identified as Parusuram who was mistaken by his father.
His father, Somanna hit his son with an axe when the boy was lying on a bed, as he mistook him to be his wife’s paramour. Despite the boy trying to defend himself, he sustained serious injurious on hands and shoulder.
The accused broke down after realising he had hurt his son.
The incident took place at Gutupalle village of Bethamcherla mandal.
According to the reports, the father-son duo has had verbal spats over family issues in the past few months. Also, the the victim's mother was allegedly having an extramarital affair.
The police have filed a case against him under Section 307 of the IPC.
