Class X student killed, another critical after school principal's car ran over children

In a freakish accident, a Class X student lost her life while another student, sustained critical injuries after a car ran over a group of children.

As per the details, the mishap occurred on Thursday morning, when the girls were returning to their classrooms after the morning assembly.

The car, being driven by the principal of Akshara Concept School, Murali ran onto the school children.

The Principal is learned to have accidentally stepped on the accelerator and drove his speeding car straight onto the group of kids.

The Class X student, Ramya Sri succumbed to injuries at Jadcherla hospital and her classmate, R Gayathri battling for her life at SVS hospital in Mahabubnagar.

Three other students received minor injuries. Following the incident, the principal has submitted himself before Jadcherla police.
