Gadwal: Municipal Administration Minister K Taraka Rama Rao has dared TPCC President N Uttam Kumar Reddy whether the latter will quit politics if Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is returned to power in 2019 polls. He was addressing a largely attended meeting at Jogulamba-Gadwal district on Wednesday.

KTR asserted that he was throwing the gauntlet to the TPCC President because of the confidence that the people in the State would elect the TRS once again. Coming down heavily on the Congress leaders, he pointed out that the last Chief Minister inthe undivided AP N Kiran Kumar Reddy said separate statehood would spell doom. But he was proved wrong, he said.

The fledgling State was able to overcome power crisis under the able leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, he pointed out. He said the Opposition in the State had failed. He regretted that the Opposition could not see the development of the State.

He sought to know whether it was not right to point out that DK Aruna welcomed Handri-Neeva Irrigation project in Anantapur district only to ensure her survival as Minister.

Congress leader A Revanth Reddy, who aimed his revolver at protagonists of Telangana State, is now waxing eloquenceTelangana Statehood. He recalled that the Congress governments in the united AP could not stop migration from Mahbubnagar district and eradicate fluoride menace in Nalgonda district.

The Minister said the TRS would organised public meeting across the State. He exuded confidence that the TRS would retain power for 20 years in the State.
