KTR said that the housing programme in Telangana budget allocation is equivalent to the budget allocated by all the 28 States put together in the country which shows the commitment of the state government towards the welfare of poor in Telangana.

Lauding Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao for his vision and plans for making rapid strides in development of state, the Minister went on to list out the welfare programmes such as KCR kits, Kalyana Lakshmi programme, old age pensions and financial grant to parents for delivery in government hospitals.
