Fire breaks out in restaurant at Kukatpally

Hyderabad: Fire broke out in the Chutneys restaurant at Kukatpally on Sunday. Noticing the smoke emanating from the building, the workers alerted the customers and evicted.

Three fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire. The fire extinguishers from Kukatpally, Madhapur and Sanathnagar stations comprising of 20 firefighters rushed to the location.

It is suspected to be the cause of an electrical short-circuit, which was initially ignited in the cellar of the building and the fire spread to the first floor through the electric wires. Furniture gutted in the fire. No casualty reported in the incident.
