13 areas around ORR to be developed as industrial clusters
ORRs will not be mere roads. They will soon bustle with business activity. If the State Government’s ambitious Rs 14000 crore plan works out, 13 transit oriented growth Centres (TOGCs), industrial clusters with state-of-the-art townships, will be established around the ORR.
Hyderabad: ORRs will not be mere roads. They will soon bustle with business activity. If the State Government’s ambitious Rs 14000 crore plan works out, 13 transit oriented growth Centres (TOGCs), industrial clusters with state-of-the-art townships, will be established around the ORR.
The Government has already made the Detailed project reports (DPRs) for these TOGCs that will come up at Patancheruvu, Medchal, Shamirpet, Keesara, Ghatkesar, Pedda Amberpet, Bongalur, Raviryal, Kokapet, Tellapur, Gundla Pochampally, Tukkuguda and Timmapur/Shamshabad.
The first model township will come at Adibhatla. This will be part of the Telangana Government’s East of Doing Business initiative. The TOGCs will have facilities such as drainage, power, water and effective transport system, links to the city. Recreation zones on par with international standards would also be created.
