The admissions into the BSc forestry course at the Forest College and Research Institute in Mulugu will take place through the Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) from the next academic year.

The order in this regard was issued by the state government on Friday amending EAMCET rules and included the BSc forestry course.

Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year intermediate examination or any examination recognised as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education to be eligible for the four-year BSc Forestry course.

Also, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry or Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry are the subjects a must have for the candidates.

The candidates seeking admission into the BSc Forestry course should appear for Biology, Physics and Chemistry in EAMCET.
