Only Indian ideas can offer solutions to Indian problems

Hyderabad: Senior RSS functionary and all-India joint general secretary Dattatreya Hosabale said though India has achieved political freedom, it was yet to achieve administrative and intellectual emancipation from western models and ideas.
Speaking at a book release function at the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training at Madhapur on Wednesday, Hosabale said western ideas were incomplete and cannot address the problems being faced by India.
Stating that only Indian ideas can offer solutions to Indian problems, he said India has achieved great progress in science and technology in the past, but there was a need to blend the modern and contemporary with the hoary knowledge. He said this alone will provide answers to the current problems.
The RSS leader further added that no government can succeed without the participation of people. People centric governance and welfare were the panacea to all problems of governance.
He said minimum government and maximum governance should be the norm and said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s mygov.in was enabling people’s participation in the decision making.On the occasion, he released the Telugu translation of the book ‘Swaraj Se Suraj Tak,’ by former Union Minister Anil Madhav Dave.
The programme was jointly organised by Sri Sivaji Sphoorthi Kendram, Srisailam, Social Cause and Chetana. Correspondent of G Pullaredddy educational institutions P Subba Reddy, Social Cause president Somaraju Suseela, Indic Academy president Srinivas Udumudi and M Suryanarayana Murthy also spoke on the occasion.
