An 18-year-old girl’s charred boy was found in an agriculture field at Rudraram village of Mirudoddi mandal on Saturday.
The victim was identified as Chetlakadi Suhasini who had left to Mirudoddi on Friday to write her intermediate second-year examination didn’t return him by evening.
Her charred body was found in a maize field on Saturday morning. Following a complaint, the police rushed to the spot and are yet to confirm whether she was sexually assaulted.
The body was shifted to Siddiper for postmortem and a case was registered in this regard. The police are investigating further.
