BJP is Bharatiya Jhoota Party: Karne Prabhakar
Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC Karne Prabhakar on Tuesday lashed out at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders for staging ‘Chalo Pragathi Bhavan.’ The BJP leaders staged the protest against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s decision to enter national politics. The MLC alleged that the saffron party was ‘Bharatiya Jhoota Party.’
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLC Karne Prabhakar on Tuesday lashed out at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders for staging ‘Chalo Pragathi Bhavan.’ The BJP leaders staged the protest against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s decision to enter national politics. The MLC alleged that the saffron party was ‘Bharatiya Jhoota Party.’
Addressing a press conference here, Prabhakar alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government was undermining the spirit of federal structure in the country. He said the TRS government had supported some programmes and schemes of the government as it believed they would benefit the people.
People of the State know very well that who is the better ruler among Modi and K Chandrashekar Rao. He said that even after the Chief Minister clarified that he had not abused Modi, the BJP leaders took up ‘Chalo Pragathi Bhavan’. He suggested the BJP leaders to take up dharna at Prime Minister’s Office. He further alleged that the BJP had a history of doing cheap politics over religion and added that people were fed up with these politics.
The TRS leader recalled how the BJP had tried to defeat Congress candidate Ahmed Patel in the Rajya Sabha elections in Gujarat. People of the country had seen what the BJP had done in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, he said. Prabhakar said the people of the State have rejected BJP and they could not even win even the constituencies represented by the BJP leaders in the GHMC elections.
