TS Govt proposes food processing units in all Assembly segments
The Cabinet Sub-Committee, headed by Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, has proposed to establish Food Processing units in all the Assembly segments.
Hyderabad : The Cabinet Sub-Committee, headed by Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, has proposed to establish Food Processing units in all the Assembly segments.
The Cabinet Sub-Committee meeting, which was held today at the Secretariat, was attended by Finance Minister Etela Rajender, Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao, IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao, Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao and the concerned officials. They discussed on the establishment of Food Processing unit in each of the Assembly constituencies in the State. It has been decided to prepare the plan and the needs of the people and the resources such as identifying the land, etc.,
The Cabinet Sub-Committee felt that the food process sector would generate more employment and the people would get the quality food items. The officials have been directed to prepare the plan and submit at the earliest.
