Upon being alerted regarding the marriage scheduled to take place between a 16-year-old girl and a 24-year-old man on March 11, the SHE Team along with the state government officials went to the victim's house at Paccharlabodu Thanda village in Yadadri-Bhuvanagiri district.
According to the sources, they managed to convince the parents of the minor girl against the marriage.
