Hyderabad: Congress MLA Komatireddy Venkatreddy has alleged that the ruling TRS legislators had tried to attack Congress members during the joint address of Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan to Telangana Legislature on Monday.

Speaking to media persons, Komatireddy said that the Congress legislators were expressing protest against the Governor's address which was a 'bundle of lies'.

He said people had lot of expectations from the Governor's address as it was the last budget of TRS Government. However, he said the Governor's address had no mention of unemployment, farmers welfare or other welfare schemes.

He said that the Governor's address clearly shows that the TRS Government would do nothing for these segments.

Komatireddy said it was customary for the opposition to rush to the podium to express their protest.

However, he said nearly 50 marshalls were deployed to prevent Congress members from reaching the well of the House.

He said Congress MLA Rammohan Reddy was pushed down and he suffered an injury on his leg. During the same period, he said he took out his mike and threw it off.

He said this was not done intentionally.

He blamed Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao for the ruckus in the Assembly. He alleged that KCR has been trying to rule like a dictator.
