Bus Conductor arrested for sexually harassing girl

Police arrested a 50-year-old bus conductor in Hyderabad on Friday on the charge of sexually harassing a girl student on a moving State-run road transport corporation bus.

According to the police, the girl sent a message to them over phone stating that the conductor had sexually harassed her while she was on her way to college in the bus and also misbehaved with other women.

She even mentioned that the conductor was habituated to behaving in that manner every day.

Based on the complaint, personnel of ‘SHE Teams’ traced the conductor, identified as Srinivas Guptha and arrested him after booking him under relevant IPC sections.
