This work is on at the Atal Incubation Centre of the CCMB. The two organizations will develop a regulatory framework for the production of clean meat.

The clean meat is already popular in the US and the Europe. India too wants to capture the clean meat market before it gets too late. Food technologists say that if the clean meat gains acceptance in India, it could profoundly alter the food and eating habits of India.
