With the Election Commission (EC) giving its nod, Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) Chairman M Kodandaram is set to launch his own political outfit – Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) on April 2 in the city.  He will unveil the party flag on April 4. 

Hyderabad: With the Election Commission (EC) giving its nod, Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) Chairman M Kodandaram is set to launch his own political outfit – Telangana Jana Samithi (TJS) on April 2 in the city. He will unveil the party flag on April 4.

The JAC leader’s close aides said that the EC approved the party name- TJS proposed by Kodandaram. A meeting with all JAC leaders will be held on Sunday before the announcement of the launch of the political organisation.

After forming the party State and district committees, Kodandaram will hold a big public meeting on April 29 in Hyderabad. The JAC leaders already requested police to grant permission to hold the public meeting either at Parade Grounds, LB Stadium or NTR Stadium in Hyderabad. The party President Kodandaram will announce his party’s objectives and ideology in the meeting. It is learnt that the party flag will have White, Blue and Yellow colours.

The symbols reflecting farmers and workers community and Telangana martyrs will be added in the flag. The new party will fight against the TRS government’s anti-people policies and also expose Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao’s misdeeds ahead of 2019 elections.
