Another Khan arrested on charges of hunting and killing three blackbucks
With the Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s blackbuck poaching case gaining a lot of prominence in the past 24 hours, another Khan from Hyderabad is now in judicial remand in a jail in Basavakalyan in Karnataka on charges of hunting and killing three blackbucks.

The accused, Dr Mujahid Ali Khan along with four others were arrested on March 30 this year under Sections 9 and 51 of the Indian Wildlife Protection Act for hunting and killing three blackbucks.
Dr Khan was also booked under the Arms Act for misuse of licensed weapons. Sources reveal that he went on a hunting trip from Hyderabad and was nabbed by the Karnataka police who recovered blackbuck meat, skin and antlers besides 22 live ammunition rounds, six knives, torchlights and a jeep.
The police informed that the accused misused his 0.22 calibre imported rifle and shot three blackbucks. Five persons were arrested including three persons from Hyderabad and two locals who are in judicial remand.
The case is under investigation.
