Nayini promises recruitment of 4,000 more constables
Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that the Telangana Government would recruit another 4,000 constables in the Police Department.
Hyderabad : Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Reddy said that the Telangana Government would recruit another 4,000 constables in the Police Department.
Speaking after inaugurating new office of DSP in Medak on Friday, the Home Minister said that 33% of 4,000 constables’ posts would be reserved for women. He said Telangana was the only State in the country where 33% reservation for women is being implemented in police jobs. He said as many as 45 new police station buildings have been constructed since the formation of Telangana State. He said that the Law and Order situation was in control across Telangana State and the government has been taking all measures for the welfare of police personnel.
Deputy Speaker Padma Devender Reddy, Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
