Sheep farming to provide huge employment opportunities for locals

Hyderabad : TS Khadi and Village Industries chairman Yousuf Zahid said that sheep farming was the necessity of the time in Telangana and it would definitely thrive if executed well.
He was speaking on the occasion of stakeholders’ meet of Magnus Sheep Park at FNCC club in Film Nagar here in city. “It is a daring step to venture into the sheep business at such a huge level. It would definitely generate a large scale employment for youth of Telangana”, he opined.
He said that TRS government was also promoting sheep farming at a large scale in order to provide financial support to all the castes and stakeholders associated with this business.
Prospective investors, farmers, farm expers and other stakeholders expressed their satisfaction over the plan of action presented by Magnus Sheep Park for the business dividends in the business.
SETWIN chairman Mir Inayat Ali Baqri on this occasion said that getting a land and insurance on shed and sheep was totally a new concept he came across. He hoped that this would be going to prosper definitely in the coming days.
He said, “Setwin would provide skilled workforce to the Magnus Sheep Park and it would be the biggest private farm to give such a huge employment opportunity for youth of the state.”
Magnus park chairman ALN Reddy said that the entire project was designed after a three year research on farming, weather, logistics and other aspects in Telangana. He said that investors can trust the business since it was being done with complete transparency.
Representative of a Dubai investing company Shamsuddin Haji was the guest of honor on this event. He expressed his willingness to explore the opportunities in the sheep farm sector through Magnus park in coming days.

It is to be recalled that the Southern breeds of Sheep especially Nellore Jodipi, Trichi Black, Karnataka Bannu, Hyderabadi Deccani, Coimbatore Red and Madras Red are very much in demand for the tastiest mutton. This has proved to be a boon for the expansion of business for Magnus Sheep Park.
