Moderate rains likely across Telangana
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Telangana from Friday to April 16, the Met department forecast said on Thursday. No large change during the period April 17 to 19 is the weather outlook.
Hyderabad: Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in Telangana from Friday to April 16, the Met department forecast said on Thursday. No large change during the period April 17 to 19 is the weather outlook.
The Met department bulletin said isolated rain occurred at several places in the State during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am, with Vikarabad and Nawabpet in Ranga Reddy district receiving three cm of rainfall. There was two cm of rain in Adilabad and once cm each in Jukkal (Nizamabad) and Tandur (Rangareddy).
The highest maximum temperature of 39 degrees Celsius was recorded in Bhadrachalam. The other temperatures in the State were: Adilabad, Khammam & Ramagundam 38 each, Mahbubnagar, Medak, Nalgonda & Nizamabad 37 each, Hanamkonda & Hyderabad 36 each and Hakimpet 35.
There was an appreciable rise in day temperatures ranging from 2.1 to 4 degrees Celsius in some parts of the State. They were below normal at many places by 1.6 to 3 degrees Celsius.
