"Heat wave conditions (are) likely to prevail in some parts in the districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Nirmal, Komaram Bheem-Asifabad, Jagityal, Mancherial, Pedapalli, Karimnagar and Warangal of Telangana," a bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department said here.

A warning issued by the Regional Meteorological Centre in Chennai said the maximum temperature in the northern districts of Telangana was likely to rise up to 45 degree Celsius during the next two days. Already parts of the state have been witnessing soaring temperatures.

A maximum temperature of 43 degree Celsius was recorded on Saturday at Ramagundam, Nizamabad and Adilabad. Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds were very likely to occur on Sunday at isolated places in Khammam, Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Jayasankar-Bhupalapally, Mancherial, Pedapalli and Warangal districts.
